Where is my data kept?
On your own premises, on storage you choose: an existing network storage box, a spare server, object storage or plain disks. Ark Cloud, an off-site copy in our data centre, is coming soon.
Can ransomware reach my backups?
OmniArk keeps an immutable, air-gapped copy that the systems it protects cannot reach, delete or change, even with an administrator's password. It also spots ransomware while backing up and tells you which backup is the last clean one.
How do I know a restore will actually work?
OmniArk tests it for you. Every night it brings your backups back in isolation, checks them and measures how long recovery took. You get the results each morning.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. OmniArk works fully offline, including licensing and updates, so it can run inside closed networks.
